Founded in 2018, Wachiih which means “Mountains” is a partnership with two members from the Community of Mistissini (Cree) in the James Bay.
At Wachiih Ressources, we believe that all types of projects are accessible to communities, that private businesses have an importance in their development and a role to play in training the local workforce.

Projects
Wachiih Ressources has carried out projects north of the community of Mistissini over the past year. Among others, we have completed projects such as: characterization of the receiving environment and surface water, repair of the bridge at the Troilus mine, as well as a fall and spring fishing campaign. All projects were completed with the participation of local First Nations workers.
The mandates that we carry out contributes to skills development in remote areas, while maximizing local economic spin-offs.
